A Bipartisan Council - Frankston City Council

2022-05-28 12:55:59 By : Ms. Niki Gu

Over the past 12-18 months Council has liaised with Members of Parliament and candidates in relation to our advocacy campaign, both throughout the development of our key priorities and following their adoption in November 2021 as we lobby MPs and candidates to influence their decision making.

The way Council interacts with Members of Parliament and candidates is underpinned by the following key documents:

Take a quick look at the election tracker via the link below, which shows you where Frankston is at for candidate election commitments:

Council uses Facebook to share news to our community on the success of our advocacy such as election commitments and budget announcements towards our key advocacy priorities.

Frankston City Council attends many local events with our state and federal Members of Parliament, including where funding has been delivered towards a Council project. Subsequently, Council will share stories and updates on Facebook for our community to be aware of what’s happening in their local area and how Council is working with other levels of government to deliver the best outcomes for the Frankston City community.

During, and heading up to election campaigns, it is essential Council is monitoring issues such as election signage.  To ensure our reporting is transparent below is an outline of complaints and their actions. (To navigate please use the scroll bar at the bottom of the table)
